How to Connect an Object Storage ?
Multiple S3 compatible Cloud and Object Storage providers are supported by the product :
Public cloud providers :
- Google Cloud Storage
- Amazon AWS S3 Storage
- Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
- Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage
Private Cloud Providers :
- Cloudian HyperStore
- Dell EMC ECS
- Quantum ActiveScale
- Scality Ring
- OpenStack Swift
- NetApp StorageGRID
If you don't find your S3 storage in this list, there is also a "Generic" S3 connector which is available.
Cloud Provider Configuration
Navigate to Settings - Hardware - Storage and choose Cloud in the panel
- To connect to a new Cloud Storage, click the button
- Fill the following parameters to configure the storage :

*Information required, if your provider doesn't enforce the usage of region, define a value representative for you.
Once, the connector is defined, the buckets will automatically appear.
How to Visualize your buckets ?
Go to storage services module and choose Cloud. At this stage, you have a complete overview of all Cloud Bucket known. You directly see if the bucket is Online or Offline.

Note :
- Primary Storage need to be mount before launching a task. To mount, click on the button to connect the storage.
- Secondary storage are automatically mount by the workflow manager.
Remarks
Name |
The name of a primary is unique. You can't have several primary with the same Name. |
If you change the Backend for a primary storage bucket |
It's required to reconnect the Storage (in the Storage Services cloud) : alt click on the button: |
If you change the Backend for a Secondary storage bucket |
It's required to restart the service Core Manager (in settings menu). |
