Offline archive tasks secures the selected data on a dedicated storage tier. Data accessibility is managed by administrator behind the workflow. This provides the capability to only read data or get back data online. Depending of the selected media, the data can be moved physically offsite. This requires human intervention to get back the data online.

To be able to scan a third party tape as an offline archive tape, you need First to specify the access priviledge on the content of this tape.
If the Container doesn't exist, you must create a new Container and specify the permission on it.
