Tape Library need to have their Tape Drives clean time to time. There are different ways to do this cleaning process.
In certain circumstances this clean up could affect the good functionality of Nodeum. This article highlights the actions to do before starting a Tape Drive clean-up.
The best practice is to configure the Tape Library Tape Drive cleaning in manual mode. This mean that you will keep the full power and autonomy to execute this cleaning when you have less activities.
In the meantime, when you run a tape drive cleaning, we recommend to not have workflow task running on the elected drive. And make sure that the drive in Nodeum is set in Maintenance mode to avoid anything happened in the drive.
