Description
In the Tape Library Overview, you can see tape(s) which have the status "Unknown".
In the Tape Overview, the representation is like this screenshot :
The reason is that those tapes have never been :
- Either formatted for a new tape
- Either scanned for a tape which have contents.
The action to get a tape status ready to be used :
- Format the tape.
- Scan the tapes, which will index and catalog the content of the tape.
These tapes will be with the status "Ready".
