Nodeum provide a platform to create and manage your data policy of retention.
Nodeum can be used either as an in-band or out-of-band solution. In the latter, Nodeum is monitoring and facilitating management and movements of any file movements.
To facilitate the work, different features are available to move data through its various storage tiers, but it is also capable to connect to external NAS storage systems.
Once the external NAS storage is recognized by Nodeum, it is possible to associate movement rules or copy actions to and from this NAS to for instance NAS storage, tape libraries or S3 object storage.
To automate, you need to schedule the task.
Type of Scheduling
Different type of schedule can be configured during a task creation
